July 2

  • Shabbaton Flyer(Wolf).png

Born to an American family, Rabbi Shlomo Goldfarb made Aliyah to Israel as a young child. After his marriage, he served in the IDF for three years. Following his official service, he remained in the army, assuming the role of a military chaplain. To this day, Rabbi Goldfarb remains deeply involved in matters relating to the army, while also serving as the Chabad Rabbi of Kfar Vradim and as a beloved teacher at two girls seminaries in Tzfat. Dynamic and engaging, Rabbi Goldfarb draws from an endless supply of stories and experiences that captivate and inspire audiences.

In his presentation, Rabbi Goldfarb will share his remarkable experiences as an IDF chaplain, having spent over 500 days on duty from October 7th until recently. Hear firsthand accounts from the battlefield, explore the unique challenges of living a Jewish life in the army, and be inspired by the incredible spirit of the soldiers. His insights offer practical lessons for addressing the mental and emotional challenges we all face in our own lives.
